Join us in our Kirkwall classroom for a jewellery making experience where you'll have the chance to create your own set of three sterling silver stacking rings.
With a great variety of textures and surface finishes available, your stack will be unique to you. You will come away from the workshop with at least three rings and learn the basics of jewellery making including how to size your ring, cutting, shaping, soldering, filing, texturing and finishing. All the equipment and materials you need are provided, including the sterling silver to make three stacking rings. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided and there will be a short coffee break halfway through the workshop.
Classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 students (with a minimum of 3 required for the course to run) and lasts approximately 4 hours. The minimum age to attend is 16, but note that 16-17 year old's must be accompanied by a paying adult. There is no maximum age limit! And after the workshop, you will receive a discount on all jewellery purchased on the day in our Kirkwall and Stromness shops, a great time to go shopping!

As this is a beginners class, no experience is necessary, but do book early as places are limited to just 6 participants per class. If there are other dates that would suit you better rather than what is available, please do enquire and we will try our best to accommodate your group.
