We hope all our customers are completely happy with their Alison Moore Designs products. Our aim is to provide every customer with the same excellent level of service for which we are known. If for any reason you are not entirely happy we will do our utmost to help resolve this.

Returns and Exchanges
Full details of our Return Policy can be found here.  Our Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Price
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT, where applicable, at the current UK rate.

CLASSES
Classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 students (with a minimum of 2 required for the course to run). This ensures that you get all the help and support you need to produce your lovely jewellery. The minimum age to attend is 16, but note that 16/17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.  There is no maximum age limit!  We want you to enjoy your class safely so please read the following terms & conditions carefully.

By booking on to our classes you agree to abide by these terms & conditions.  Please note that Alison Moore Designs Ltd terms and conditions are subject to change at any time for reasons, including regulatory changes.

Cancellations
Cancellations more than 4 weeks prior to course start: If you contact us more than 4 weeks prior to the workshop date, you can transfer to another workshop, subject to availability and any balance due. Alternatively, we can issue you with a voucher credit that must be used within 12 months.

Cancellations less than 4 weeks prior to course start: If you are unable to attend your course with less than 4 weeks’ notice, your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if we manage to re-sell your place within 4 weeks of the course date, we will issue a voucher credit of your course fee, that can be used towards another workshop taking place within 12 months. You may also consider finding someone else to take your place. If you do so, you must inform us of the name change and give contact details of new booking immediately so we can send out our terms and conditions and further information for the course.

In the unlikely event that a workshop is cancelled, the class will be rescheduled giving the students as much notice as possible. Where the workshop cannot be rescheduled, we will transfer you to a workshop of the same value or issue you with a course credit that you may use towards any other course of interest.  Alison Moore Designs is not responsible for any loss of travel costs due to cancellations.

Course Health & Safety
Alison Moore Designs Ltd will not be held liable for any accidents as a result of failure to follow safety instructions or studio safety rules.  Alison Moore Designs Ltd will not be held liable for a student contracting a communicable illness or disease from attendance. By attending any course, the student accepts all risks.  Alison Moore Designs Ltd reserves the right to ask a student to leave the premises permanently without a refund if they have breached safety instructions or studio safety rules.

We will provide a safe & well-equipped environment for our workshops including correct tuition & safety equipment. The participant acknowledges and understands that there are inherent dangers associated with jewellery making, jewellery soldering, and other related activities, and that mortal or serious personal injuries and property damage, including (but not limited to) physical effort, cuts, burns, and/or inhalation of hazardous substances may occur from participation in such activities and participation is at your own risk. You agree to follow the workshop safety rules and the instruction provided to you. Participation in the class is to also agree that the participants have no physical limitations, medical ailments, physical or mental disabilities that would limit or prevent them from participating in the booked activity.

Gift Vouchers
Alison Moore Designs Ltd will not be responsible for lost, damaged or unwanted gift vouchers.  Alison Moore Designs Ltd issued gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Gift vouchers are non-refundable or transferable; Jewellery Making Experience gift vouchers may only be used for Alison Moore Jewellery Making Experiences. They cannot be exchanged for cash or used after their expiry date.

Alison Moore Designs cannot be held responsible if any item you have ordered is impounded by or has extra duty or VAT charged on it by your local Customs department, therefore we recommend that you check with the Customs and Excise Department before ordering from us.  

To amend an order or delivery address, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to make amendments prior to despatch, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order is processed. An order may incur additional charges if a change of delivery address is requested after the goods have been despatched.

VAT
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT in the United Kingdom.  If your item is to be delivered outside of the UK, VAT will be deducted upon checkout.

Complaints
The following terms and conditions do not affect your statutory consumer rights. If goods do not reach you in good condition or are faulty, carriage costs for the affected portion of delivery back to Alison Moore Designs is at our expense. You must contact us to arrange return delivery. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 2 working days and we will keep you well informed about progress. Alison Moore Designs will only credit you for the items that have been damaged or are faulty upon safe receipt of the goods into our hands. Refunds will be furnished within 30 days of the agreement to refund.

Product images and descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that images displayed on our website are as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee an exact match to the product as displayed on your screen.  All product information and technical specifications contained in Alison Moore Designs are for guidance only, no responsibility can be taken for errors or omissions.

Security
We use Shopify payments to collect and process transaction information.  

Data Protection
Alison Moore Designs conforms to the UK Data Protection Act. Any information you provide is treated in strict confidence and is stored in a secure location. Customer details will not be disclosed in any way to any persons out with Alison Moore Designs. If you do not wish to receive promotional material from us, please register that with us immediately by e-mail. View our Privacy Policy.

Termination
Alison Moore Designs reserves the right to abort access of our Internet services if you behaviour is found to be discordant with these terms and conditions at any time.

These Conditions of Use are governed by Scots law.
