Join us for a jewellery-making experience where you'll create your own beautiful organic loop pendant. Choose between a mixed-metal design made from brass and sterling silver, or upgrade to an all sterling silver pendant for a classic option.

During this hands-on workshop in our Kirkwall classroom, you'll make a three-loop organic pendant and learn essential jewellery-making techniques including soldering, texturing, cutting and filing. You'll be guided through each step to create a unique pendant to take home and treasure.

All equipment and materials are provided. The workshop price includes the materials needed to create your pendant. Please note that chains are not included in the workshop fee but can be purchased in a variety of styles and lengths as an optional extra on the day. 

Classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 students (with a minimum of 2 required for the course to run). The workshop lasts approximately 2.5 hours, ensuring everyone receives plenty of individual guidance and support. The minimum age to attend is 16; however, 16 and 17-year-olds must be accompanied by a paying adult. There is no upper age limit.

Please bring reading glasses if you use them, although a small selection will be available to borrow. For your safety, please wear closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, and avoid loose clothing, scarves, or dangling accessories.

Please note that the workshop takes place on the first floor and is accessed via a flight of stairs.

Information about your class will be emailed approximately two weeks before the workshop date.
