A Glimmering BAFTA Appearance
I had to pinch myself to check that this actually happened! The talented Orkney author of The Outrun Amy Liptrot chose to wear pieces from my Glimmerings collection at the BAFTA awards ceremony. Amy's book and film beautifully observes the rhythms of Orkneys' natural environment. Like me, she is a cold water swimmer and loves the underwater world, which connects so well with this collection. Filmed in Orkney, I was lucky enough to be an extra for the day as a wild swimmer - so this really is extremely special.
