Join us in our Kirkwall classroom for a jewellery making experience where you'll have the chance to create your own textured, wide sterling silver band.
With a great variety of textures and surface finishes available, your ring will be unique to you. You will come away from the workshop with a sterling silver ring and will have learnt the basics of jewellery making including how to size your ring, cutting, shaping, soldering, filing, texturing and finishing of the metal. All the equipment and materials you need are provided.
Classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 students (with a minimum of 3 required for the course to run) and lasts approximately 3 hours. The minimum age to attend is 16, but note that 16/17 year old's must be accompanied by a paying adult. There is no maximum age limit! And after the workshop, you will receive a discount on all jewellery purchased on the day in our Kirkwall and Stromness shops, a great time to go shopping!

As this is a beginners class, no experience is necessary, but do book early as places are limited to just 6 participants per class. If there are other dates that would suit you better rather than what is available, please do enquire and we will try our best to accommodate your party.
