Join Alison for a jewellery making experience where you'll have the chance to create your own set of three sterling silver stacking rings.
With a great variety of textures and surface finishes available, your stack will be unique to you. You will come away from the workshop with at least three rings and learn the basics of jewellery making including how to size your ring, cutting, shaping, soldering, filing, texturing and finishing.
All the equipment and materials you need are provided, including the sterling silver to make three stacking rings. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided and there will be a short coffee break halfway through the workshop.
Classes are kept small with a maximum of 6 students (with a minimum of 2 required for the course to run) and last between 3 to 4 hours depending on the number of participants on the day. This ensures that you get all the help and support you need to produce your lovely jewellery. The minimum age to attend is 16, but note that 16/17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult. There is no maximum age limit!
Please bring reading glasses if you use them, although we will have a few pairs available for use. To keep you safe please wear closed toed shoes, tie long hair back and avoid loose clothes, scarves etc.
Please note that the workshop is on the first floor up a flight of stairs.
See the terms and conditions here for all the information.
Information will be emailed two weeks before the class.
