Small silver stud earrings set with the July birthstone, ruby. The rose cut gemstones are 4mm wide and set in recycled solid sterling silver.
When does a sapphire become a ruby? Well both are made of the same mineral, corundum, but blue corundums tend to be called sapphire and red ones rubies. So we've called these beautiful pink stones rubies (or are they sapphires?!).
These gemstones are naturally occurring, and therefore each one is unique and colours and inclusions may vary slightly from stone to stone.
